But JoiMei's story isn't simply about what happened to her. It's about what she chose to do with what happened to her.

Throughout her life, JoiMei has faced circumstances that could have defined, defeated, or limited her. Instead, she has learned how adversity can be transformed into purpose, how seemingly impossible circumstances can become possible, and how even the most difficult parts of our stories can ultimately be used for good.

Today, she brings those experiences to the stage with honesty, transparency, humor, and heart. Her message has connected with people across generations, cultures, backgrounds, and walks of life—not because everyone's story is the same, but because the need for hope, purpose, resilience, and the courage to keep moving forward is universal.
