JoiMei, born in Honolulu, Hawaii but raised in sunny Southern California, uses her voice to reach all walks of life through her musical tones, melodies, and lyrics that will inspire, challenge, and encourage her listeners.

JoiMei’s voice is one of a kind and set apart from most artists today. Although her musical influences surround the likes of Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston, all the way Yolanda Adams, the most important thing to her for her musical expression is to dig deep into the soul to shine out the light that has fueled her entire life. 

The name “JoiMei” is of Japanese descent (spelled slightly differently in Japan JoMei) and means “Shine Light”. 

Raised in the performing arts world, JoiMei, is no stranger to the stage. Her purpose and mission comes from the ability to communicate through music and speaking on any platform to make a difference in a world that needs hope, love, and pure joy.
